Robert Whittaker is a New Zealand-Australian professional mixed martial artist. He competes in the Middleweight division in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He has been UFC Middleweight Champion. He was a contestant on The Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes, winning the welterweight tournament, and was undisputed champion. He is also known as The Reaper and Bobby Knuckles.

Robert was born in Ōtāhuhu, Auckland, New Zealand, and moved to Australia during his early years, growing up in Melbourne and Sydney. He has stated that he is proud of representing both Australia and New Zealand. Robert grew up playing rugby but gave it up to pursue his MMA career. He trained in Karate and Hapkido from a young age, but would later transition to freestyle wrestling and MMA.

He is married to Sofia, with whom he has four children.
