Robert Blake was an American actor. As a child, he starred as Mickey in the Our Gang/The Little Rascals short films, and as Native American character “Little Beaver” in the Red Ryder films. He also appeared in the features Bridal Suite, Andy Hardy’s Double Life, Humoresque, The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, The Black Rose, Pork Chop Hill, The Greatest Story Ever Told, In Cold Blood, Electra Glide in Blue, Busting, and Lost Highway, and the television series Baretta. He was also known as Bobby Blake, Lyman P. Docker, and Mickey Gubitosi. In 2005, he was tried and acquitted for the murder of his second wife, Bonny Lee Bakley, in a criminal court, and was found liable in civil court.

He was the son of Elizabeth (Cafone) and Vincenzco “James” Gubitosi, a vaudeville artist. His father was born in Apice Vecchio, Provincia di Benevento, Campania, Italy. His mother was born in New Jersey, to Italian parents. The two had a song-and-dance act.

He had two children, including actor Noah Blake, with his first wife Sondra Kerr; and one child with Bonny Bakley.

Robert’s maternal grandfather was named Michelangelo Cafone. Michelangelo was born in Cosenza, Provincia di Cosenza, Calabria.

Robert’s maternal grandmother was named Rosina Maltodo.

    Son of Elizabeth Cafone and Giacomo “James” Gubitosi, an Italian vaudeville artist. Elizabeth was born in New Jersey, to Italian parents.
