Rob Halford is an English singer and songwriter. He is known as the lead vocalist for English heavy metal band Judas Priest. He is the son of Joan L. (Elsden) and Barrie A. Halford.

Rob’s paternal grandfather was Arthur Harry Flavell Halford (the son of Henry Wyatt Halford and Elizabeth Annie Flavell). Henry was the son of William Halford and Emily Elizabeth Wyatt. Rob’s great-grandmother Elizabeth was the daughter of Job Flavell and Ann Lea.

Rob’s paternal grandmother was Edith Alice Meads (the daughter of Thomas Meads and Edith Eleanor Drury). Thomas was the son of Henry Mead, later Meads, and Mary Ann Richards. Rob’s great-grandmother Edith was the daughter of Robert Drury and Alice Hughes.

Rob’s maternal grandparents were Arthur Augustus Elsden (the son of Sam Ladds Elsden and Matilda Ann Batchelor) and Florence Fellows. Sam was the son of Abraham Aubrey Elsden and Emma Haydon. Matilda was the daughter of George Batchelor and Sarah Riley.
