Richard Burgi is an American actor.

His brother is rock drummer Chuck Burgi. His family was involved in community theatre. Richard is married to Liliana Lopez. He has two children with his former wife Lori Kahn.

Richard’s paternal grandfather was Charles Arnold Burgi (the son of Johannes Burgi and Rosette Segesser). Charles was born in Gersau, Berne, Switzerland. Rosette was the daughter of Johannes Sägesser and Catharina Leuenberger.

Richard’s paternal grandmother was named Carolyn Martha Meier (the daughter of William C. Meier and Emma Sutter). Carolyn was born in New Jersey, to Swiss parents.

Richard’s maternal grandfather was Walter Edward Nolan (the son of William Henry Nolan and Mary Margaret Bigley). Walter was born in New York. William was the son of Irish parents, William Henry Nolan, from County Mayo, and Emily Macklin, from Aghnagap, County Monaghan. Mary Margaret was born in Pancras, London, England, the daughter of Irish parents, William P. Bigley and Catherine Ann Walsh.

Donald was the son of John Elliott McDiarmid and Mary Douglas. Margaret was the daughter of John Dunn and Rosena Campbell, who herself was born in Leitrim, Ireland.
