Reid Carolin is an American film producer, director, and screenwriter. He often works with Channing Tatum, who co-produces and stars in many of their films.

Reid’s paternal grandfather was John Guy Carolin (the son of Louis Guy Carolin and Kathryn/Kathrine L. Reid). Louis was the son of William Victor Carolin, whose parents were Irish, and of Marie Louise Mott. Kathryn was the daughter of John J. Reid, who was born in Canada, to Scottish parents, and of Louisa/Louise V. Mott, whose mother was Irish.

Reid’s paternal grandmother was Dorothy Hare (the daughter of Austin Joseph Hare and Mary E. Toman). Austin was the son of James H. Hare, whose father was English. Mary E. was born in New Jersey, to parents from Ireland.

Reid’s maternal grandfather was Gordon Bent (the son of Maurice Hiram Bent and Maria/Marie Emily Kriechbaum). Maurice was the son of Charles Henry Bent and Cora Hannah Stone. Maria was the daughter of Charles Kriechbaum, whose parents were German, and of Maria/Marie Voigt, whose parents were also German.

Reid’s maternal grandmother was Susan Drake (the daughter of William McChellan/McClellan Drake and Elizabeth R. Keays). Susan was the widow of Albert Blake Dick III, chairman of the A.B. Dick Co., a duplicating machine manufacturing firm. William was the son of John Burroughs Drake, who founded Chicago’s Drake Hotel; and of Jessie Katherine McClellan. Elizabeth was the daughter of Hiram Keays and Lucy. Susan’s great-great-grandfather, John Dean Gillette, was known as the “Cattle King of America.”
