Raymond De Felitta is an American independent film director, screenwriter, musician, blogger, and podcaster. He has directed and written the films Cafe Society (1995), Two Family House, City Island; directed the films The Thing About My Folks, Booker’s Place: A Mississippi Story, Rob the Mob, Bottom of the 9th; and directed the mini-series Madoff. He has also been credited as Raymond DeFelitta, Ray DeFelitta, and Raymond de Fellita.

Raymond is the son of Dorothy Helene Gilbert and author and producer Frank Paul De Felitta. His sister is actress Ivy Jones (born Ivy-Eileen De Felitta). Raymond is married to Sherry Brennan, with whom he has a son.

Raymond has been described as “half-Jewish.” Raymond’s mother is said to be of Polish Jewish descent.

Raymond’s paternal grandfather was named Pasquale De Felitta. Pasquale was Italian.

Raymond’s paternal grandmother was named Genevieve/Genoveffa Sibello/Sibbilio. Genevieve was born in Salerno, Campania, Italy.
