It should say which ancestors were Welsh and English:
John Wells was English.
Esther Long was Welsh.
Isaac William Lloyd and Mary Ann Long were both Welsh.

Rand Paul but not Ron Paul has Native American ancestry. Rand Paul’s maternal grandmother Carol Creed’s 9th great grandmother Matoaka Amonute “Rebecca” Powhatan was born 1595 in Virginia.

You mean Pocahontas? Assuming this relation is even correct, that would make Rand Paul of 1/8192 Native American descent.

He has German and Scottish ancestry on his mother’s side as well.

Why is that funny? Jesus Christ… I can only imagine how ugly you are. Probably ashamed of looking like an Arab.

Policies tend to overlap a lot though.

OK no doubt he looks european

but we do have the american phenomenon

correction: Hohenzell (as part of the town Schlüchtern) is in Hessia, not in Prussia; but perhaps it is correct to write: “then in Prussia” – or just: Germany ;-) .

Freerk July 9, 2014 at 12:40 pm

… or: “Hohenzell, Hessia, then a province of Prussia”

There’s a song by Jefferson Airplane titled “Never Argue with a German if You’re Tired”. Now you know why … :D
