He was initially raised in Hunslet, Leeds, and also spent time during his childhood in major racecourse towns in Northern England. He had two children, including actress Kate O’Toole, with his former wife, actress Siân Phillips; and a son with his former partner, model Karen Brown.

he looks like how I imagine Anglo-Saxons looked like. weird how he doesnt have any English ancestry
Lots of Irish look like him and Scottish. Anglo-Saxon is an overused term. The Anglo-Saxons would have contributed to England but the majority of the people would have ancestry longer in those islands. It’s not like people didn’t move around either.
most English are descendant of Anglo-Saxons and Irish Celtic, which has been proven by modern DNA testing
he looks like how I imagine Anglo-Saxons looked like
wiki quote: Some sources give his birthplace as Connemara, County Galway, Ireland, and others as Leeds, in the West Riding of Yorkshire, England, where he grew up. O’Toole himself is not certain of his birthplace or date
That is strange that he doesn’t know his own birthplace? Maybe he just wants to be ambigious about it? Errol Flynn used to claim to be born in Ireland to appear more Irish. The same could be the case with Peter. It was all abour image in the past.
I read that he actually had 2 birth certificates, an Irish one from June 1932, and a British one dated August 2, 1932.
RIP, the late great Peter O’Toole 1932-2013
Links please because by autosomal dna all those countries cluster together. Celtic for example is a language and culture. There is no Celtic dna. There was some Anglo-Saxon migration to the UK but there was only a partial displacement of the original people. Most ot the people of the UK and Ireland have been there way before the Celts and Anglo-Saxons came. Where they came from originally will answer more what type of populations they are.

You yourself said that Peter O’Toole looks like your idea of an Anglo-Saxon yet he is of Irish and Scots descent.
