Ethnic, is there a picture, please?

  2. andrew says:

He appears to have no First Nations ancestry. Catholic church records are very strict and don’t mess about that.

I don’t know what you mean, but Martin is said to have First Nations ancestry on his mother’s side, not his father’s.

      • andrew says:

That would be very unlikely that he has First Nations ancestry on his mother’s side, if anything on his French-Canadian roots.

I am pretty sure if we look into the French-Canadian ancestry of Canadian PMs, at least one remote indigenous female ancestors would definitely pop out.

From what ancestor does Paul Martin’s First Nations (Native Canadian) ancestry come from?

If it’s verified, I believe he would be the only Canadian Prime Minister with Native ancestry (and I don’t think any American presidents have had any verified Native roots).
