Paul Feig is an American actor, film director, producer, and screenwriter. He has directed the films I Am David, Unaccompanied Minors, Bridesmaids, The Heat, Spy, Ghostbusters (2016), A Simple Favor, Last Christmas, and The School for Good and Evil, and created the shows Freaks and Geeks and Other Space.

Paul is the son of Elaine Elizabeth and Sanford William Feig. He is married to Laurie Karon.

Paul’s father was raised Jewish. He later converted to Christian Science. Paul’s mother was of English and Scottish descent.

Paul’s paternal grandfather was Pesach/Philip Meir/Meyer Feig (the son of Jacob David or Sholom Volfe Feig and Frumet/Frimma Pollak). Pesach was born in Nagy Bocska, Marrmoroz, Hungary (Velykiy Bychkiv, Ukraine). Jacob was the son of Peiszech Majer Feig and Szaszje.
