Nate Berkus is an American designer, author, and television personality. He was the host of The Nate Berkus Show from 2010 to 2012.

Nate is the son of Nancy (Levin) Golden and Michael Arlen Berkus. Nate’s parents are/were Jewish. He was raised in Minnesota. He is married to interior designer and television personality Jeremiah Brent, with whom he has a son.

Nate’s paternal grandfather was Carl L. Berkus (the son of Jacob Berkus and Rose Novick). Carl was born in Minnesota, to parents from Russia.

Nate’s paternal grandmother was Beatrice Gleckman (the daughter of Robert Gleckman and Rose Brodsky). Beatrice was born in Minnesota, to parents from Russia.
