I also believe her ”Polish” ancestors were Rusyn.
Why Rusyn?
Either Rusyn or Lemko. Polish people wouldn’t go to a Ukrainian church. Plus Semen (Semyon) isn’t a Polish name, it would be Szymon in Polish, no? And Peregrym is a Rusyn last name (but that’s the least important reason).
