He was born Milo Hanrahan. His father, Nicolas Ivan Yiannopoullos, is of half Greek and half British Isles [Irish, English] descent. Milo is married to John. He has also been credited as Milo Andreas Wagner.
Milo’s paternal grandfather is named Andreas Ivan Yiannopoulos (whose parents’ surnames were Yiannopoullos and Sotirios/Sotirious). Andreas was born in Marylebone, London, England, of Greek descent.
Milo’s paternal grandmother was Petronella Teresa Hanrahan (the daughter of John Charles Valentine Hanrahan and Alice Maud Leary). Petronella was born in Medway, England. John was the son of John Hanrahan, who was born in Limerick, Ireland, and of Sarah Ann Snowdon. I think his mother will turn out to be half British Isles (maybe Irish) and half German Jewish. Maybe “Wagner” was the surname of his Jewish grandmother.
If he says his mother is Jewish, why wouldn’t that be assumed? I think he has said that his mother is from Germany too.

This is not the kind of person whose claims about their ancestry, especially Jewish ancestry, can be trusted.
To take Yiannopoulos at his word would be… politically correct.
Perhaps his mother is a cousin of Charlie Sheen’s mother, who also happens to be Jewish.

Courtney Love’s dad was a roadie for the Dead and Graham Parsons and her mom is a famous lawyer, who happens to be Jewish. Whoopi Goldberg most recent 4x grandparent was European and could have been Jewish.

Why can’t Milo be trusted about his Jewish ancestry?
Because he’s a notorious liar. When he sent Nazi symbols to a Jewish reporter, he stated he couldn’t be antisemitic because he’s Jewish. It was way too convenient, not to mention ridiculous.

It’s the other way around, because one person who is of Polish Jewish descent might resemble Milo’s maternal grandmother, and if someone already successfully finds this, then it must be credible.
It’s like saying, commentary YouTuber ImAllexx states that he is Jewish on his mother’s side in response to his antisemitic posts on social media. However, this has not been known to any people since there is nothing to show this yet. I know for sure that he is of English ancestry along with scottish from his father’s side and likely one eighth-Korean.

There are a number of websites claiming that his birth name is Milo Hanrahan and that he was born in Kent, England. His grandmother, with whom he was close, was named Petra and she passed away in 2012.
