Typical slavic facial features. Im part russian on my fathers side so those facial features and “squinty” eyes are common in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus etc

“Montenegrin” is no ethnicity. You may have Montenegrin-Serbian, or Montenegrin-Albanian (in the same right as e.g. Swiss-German, Swiss-French, or Swiss-Italian, but no “Swiss” on its own). Montenegrins have only become a “separate nation” under the geopolitical manipulation of Communist Yugoslav government, but that is a wholly another story, related to politics, rather than cultural or ethnic heritage. Even the former ruling dynasty of Montenegro, the Petrovic-Njegos, claimed they (along with all the Montenegrins) were of Serbian descent.

Montenegro is in real an former Province from Serbia. But for political Reasons it becomes an State. In Montenegro lived since Centurys over 250.000 Ethnic Serbs. So how the Father of Milla can be Montenegrin ????Even on her own Website its clerly stated that her Father is an Serb.

http://www.millaj.com/bio.shtml

It seems to me that here are many Serbian Enemys who denie Serbian Heritage of some Famous Persons only to elevate themself.

I know there is a lot of controversy about who is her father Serbian or Montenegrin. Everywhere write that Serbian, but on her official website and twitter she stated that she is a Montenegrin. https://twitter.com/MillaJovovich/status/241090770310922240

p.s Her birth name: Milica Bogdanovna Jovovic. Natasa is her coisin name, but not her. It’s an old mistake of press.

I always knew, she has a jugoslavian name, but I’m surprised,
that her mother is russian. Interesting, how works such marriage? I know jugoslavian people, they always
tell “a husband is a lord at home”, but russian women should
be rather dominant themselves. I bet, her parents are divorce.

Jo June 25, 2011 at 3:21 pm

Russian/German women are so exotic. I sometimes don’t like her but generally I do. she was a very attractive young girl in Blue Lagoon 2. I think that, like with Zooey Deschanel, a lot of her popularity stems from her eye color. if those women had brown eyes (and I love brown eyes), they probably sadly wouldn’t be as popular. But Milla also has very striking Euro looks too her with attractively collides with the American definition of beauty, which is more like one of the Disney Channel girls or Kristen Bell, all of whom are totally Milla’s opposite.

Yes, her mom was born and lived in Ukraine but ethnic Russian! Loginova Russian name and when Milla on was in Ukraine she said on Russian language: “I’m from Kiev, yes. Ukrainian. But mother is Russian.” and also she joked: ‘”Go from here a Russian girl, this is Ukraine!” lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNKsmppxVdI and also her official site http://www.millaj.com/bio.shtml

Anonymous May 22, 2010 at 8:04 am
