Mickey Baker was an American guitarist. He was part of R&B duo Mickey & Sylvia, with Sylvia Robinson.

He was born in Louisville. His mother, Lillian Smith, was African-American. His father, whom he had never met, was believed to be white. Mickey was put into an orphanage when he was eleven, and escaped, living in St. Louis, New York City, Chicago, and Pittsburgh. He later remained in New York City.

Mickey had two children.
