Michael Tollin is an American film and television producer and director. He directed the films Summer Catch and Radio (2003), the documentaries Hardwood Dreams and Hank Aaron: Chasing the Dream, and episodes of Arli$$ and Cousin Skeeter. He is also known as Mike Tollin.

His father, Solis “Sol” Tollin/Tollen, played basketball and baseball for Haverford College. He is of Russian Jewish and Polish Jewish descent. Michael was raised in Havertown, Pennsylvania.

Michael’s paternal grandfather was Philip Tollin/Tollen (the son of Frank Tollin/Tollen and Ida Cohen). Philip was born in Pennsylvania. Frank was born in Russia. Ida was from Poland.

Michael’s paternal grandmother was named Fannie. Fannie was born in Pennsylvania, to parents from Russia.

Michael’s maternal grandfather was named Sidney Kanner. Sidney was born in Maryland.
