Michael De Luca is an American film studio executive, producer, and screenwriter. He is the co-chairperson and CEO of Warner Bros. Pictures Group. He was previously president of production at New Line Cinema, and DreamWorks, and chairman of the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Motion Picture Group. He wrote the films Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare and John Carpenter’s In the Mouth of Madness. He was also a writer on the shows Freddy’s Nightmares and Dark Justice.

Michael’s father was American, of Italian descent, and Catholic. Michael’s mother was a German Jewish immigrant, who survived the Holocaust. He is married to actress Angelique Madrid, with whom he has two children.
