    Fuzzy bear you are so wrong she is Guyanese not African. Just because your from Africa doesn’t mean your African. There are many different types of races & people that live there. Africa is a continent dear! Please start listening in history class.

      She is of African descent, I have the same mixture she does. Melanie is mostly African/Afro Guyanese you can see that. I am from Guyana too

      Guyana has a near 40% Black population of African descent just like how African AMericans are. I am Guyanese, I know. And black means mostly black, of course Guyanese blacks are mixed in small percentages with other things.
