Matthew Rhys is a Welsh actor. He is known for his roles on the shows Brothers & Sisters, The Americans, Perry Mason, and The Owl House, and in the films The Edge of Love, The Post, and A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.
He is the son of Helen (Williams), a teacher, and Glyn Evans, a headmaster. Matthew is married to American actress Keri Russell, with whom he has a son.
His stage name does sound Welsh. Being his parents an Evans and a Williams, he’s a true Welshman indeed. If we find a Davies or Jones among his grandparents, it would be a full house.
He looks like Zach Braff.
