Mart Siimann is an Estonian politician. He served as Prime Minister of Estonia, from 17 March 1997, to 25 March, 1999, as well as president of the Estonian Olympic Committee, from 2001 to 2012.

He is the son of Elfriede and Elmar Siimann. He is married to Maarika Saarna. He has two children with his former wife Raissa Tuhkru.

Mart’s paternal grandfather was Kaarel Siimann (the son of Mart Siimann and Els Sulsinberg). Kaarel was born in Kaude, Kivijärve, Laiuse kihelkond, Tartumaa. Mart’s great-grandfather Mart was the son of Mart Siimann and Maret. Els was the son of Jaak Sulsinberg and Kai Kitsnik.

Mart’s paternal grandmother was Loviisa Silm (the daughter of Jüri Silm and Maret Juurik). Loviisa was born in Kivijärve, Laiuse kihelkond, Tartumaa. Jüri was the son of Jüri Silm and Mari Otsalt. Maret was the daughter of Peeter Juurik and Mall Kull.

Mart’s maternal grandfather was Ferdinand Ader/Adder (the son of Adam Adder and Ann Orrav). Ferdinand was born in Kodijärve, Tartu maakond. Adam was the son of Jaan Adder and Marri Kirm. Ann was the daughter of Marri Orrav.

Mart’s maternal grandmother was named Marie Lukk (the daughter of Märt Lukk).
