Luke Kleintank is an American actor. His roles include the films 1000 to 1: The Cory Weissman Story, Dark House (2014), Phantom Halo, Max, Crown Vic, The Goldfinch, Midway, and The Good Neighbor, and the shows Gossip Girl, The Young and the Restless, Bones, Pretty Little Liars, The Man in the High Castle, and FBI: International.

He was raised in Guadalajara, Mexico, for a few early childhood years, and then moved to Stevensville, Maryland.

Luke’s paternal grandfather was Alfred Robert Kleintank (the son of Charles Henry Kleintank and Ida Louise Schafer/Schaefer). Alfred was born in Ohio. Charles was the son of Bernard H. Kleintank, whose parents were Dutch, with roots in Lichtenvoorde, Gelderland; and of Elizabeth D. “Lizzie” Dunker, whose parents were also German. Ida was the daughter of Michael Schafer and Anna Bonnert/Bohnert/Bonner.

Luke’s paternal grandmother was Ruth Grace Edwards (the daughter of Claude Sidney Edwards and Edna Lee Roberts). Ruth was born in Tennessee. Claude was the son of Thomas Edwards and Emma Gass. Edna was the daughter of Will/William Roberts and Sally Gunnels.

Luke’s maternal grandfather was named Donald E. Woodall (the son of Hazel Maupin).

Luke’s maternal grandmother was Thelma Hampton (the daughter of Andrew Madison Hampton and Mornen Baker/Woods). Thelma was born in Combs, Kentucky. Andrew was the son of John Hampton and Paralee Philpot.
