Lili Simmons is an American actress and model. Her roles include the films Fat Kid Rules the World, Bone Tomahawk, Bad Match, and Sound of Violence, the shows Banshee, True Detective, Hawaii Five-0, Ray Donovan, Westworld, The Purge, and Power Book IV: Force, and the made-for-tv movie Geek Charming.

Lili’s paternal grandfather was Curt Simmons (Curtis Thomas Simmons, the son of Lawrence Lewis Simmons and Harriet S. “Hattie” Peifley). Curt was born in Egypt, Whitehall, Lehigh, Pennsylvania, and was a professional baseball player, who was a left-handed pitcher in Major League Baseball (MLB). Lawrence was the son of Allen Thomas Lanford Simmons and Daisy Alice Newhard. Hattie was the daughter of Irwin A. Peifley, whose paternal grandparents were from Württemberg, Germany; and of Kate M. Sterner.

Lili’s paternal grandmother was Dorothy Ludwig (the daughter of Warren Tilghman Ludwig and Mary C. Schneck). Dorothy was born in Whitehall, Lehigh, Pennsylvania. Warren was the son of Henry A. Ludwig and Cora M. Snyder. Mary was the daughter of Wilson Henry Schneck and Kate M. Huber.

Lili’s maternal grandfather was Walter Ross Mortensen (the son of Walter Mortensen and Agnes C. Danielson). Walter was born in California, to Danish parents, George Mortensen and Anna. Agnes was also born in California, to William Danielson, who was Swedish, and Catherine Jakobsen, who was Norwegian.

Lili’s maternal grandmother was Joanne Derling Mead (the daughter of Chester Ira Mead and Dorothy Spry). Joanne was born in Canada, to American parents. Chester was the son of Lewis Mead and Wesselina Hendrika “Hattie” TeRonde, whose parents were Dutch. Dorothy was the daughter of Harvey Roscoe Spry and Mabel Bird Curtis.
