Li Keqiang (李克强) is a Chinese economist and politician. He was Premier of the People’s Republic of China, from 15 March, 2013 to 11 March, 2023. He has also been Secretary of the Communist Youth League of China, from 10 May, 1993 to 23 June, 1998, Communist Party Secretary of Henan, from 30 December, 2002 to 13 December, 2004, Communist Party Secretary of Liaoning, from 13 December, 2004 to 29 October, 2007, and First Vice Premier of the People’s Republic of China, from 17 March, 2008 to 15 March, 2013.

His father, Li Fengsan, was a local official in Anhui. He is married to Cheng Hong, a professor in English Language and Literature, with whom he has one child.
