Lady Miss Kier’s paternal grandfather was Harry Edward Kirby (the son of John Kirby, Jr. and Mabel Foley). Harry was born in Liberty Township, Ohio. John was the son of John Kirby, who was born in Canada, to Irish immigrants, and of Catherine Healy, who was born in New Jersey, also to Irish parents. Mabel was the daughter of Harry E. Foley, whose father, and maternal grandfather, were English immigrants; and of Mary Kelly, who was Irish.

Lady Miss Kier’s paternal grandmother was Doris Wilma Williard (the daughter of William Coole Williard and Doris Evelyn Stefanski). Lady Miss Kier’s grandmother Doris was born in Youngstown, Ohio.     Her maternal side is wrong, those are actually Lady Miss Kier’s maternal step-grandparents. In the obituary of Mary Jean McBride, Kierin’s mother Alice is mentioned as her daughter-in-law, wife of her son Anthony “Tony” Robert Giancola (Kierin step-father).
