He is the son of Elaine (Klein) and Robert “Bobby” Pollak. His parents are both Jewish. He was raised in Reform Judaism, and was Bar Mitzvah.

Kevin’s paternal grandfather was named Harry Pollak. Harry was born in Russia.

Kevin’s paternal grandmother was named Anna Ratner. Anna was born in New York, to parents from Russia.
