Josh Koscheck is an American mixed martial artist. He fought at Welterweight for the UFC and Bellator MMA. Appearing on the show The Ultimate Fighter, he fought for UFC 25 times from 2005 to 2015, with a UFC record of 15–10. Josh was a decorated collegiate wrestler and an NCAA Division I All-American. As an MMA fighter, he brought a strong wrestling base with improved striking skills, making him a top welterweight fighter. He is nicknamed “Kos.”

Josh is married to reality agent Tiaira Nowlin.

Josh’s maternal grandfather was Charles W. Koscheck/Kosczuk (the son of Joseph Kosczuk and Anna Alchonuski/Olchanowski/Olkanowski). Charles was born in Fredericktown, Pennsylvania, to Polish parents. Anna was the daughter of John Olkanowski and Rosalia. Charles was raised by adoptive parents, Steve Barnhart and Ann.

Josh’s maternal grandmother was Loretta V. Rush (the daughter of Joseph Clinton Rush and Dora H. Headley). Loretta was born in Khedive, Pennsylvania. Joseph was the son of Joseph Abraham Rush and Sarah Ann Morris. Dora was the daughter of William Headley and Mina F. “Minnie” Hull.
