James had English, Scottish, and German ancestry, and was the son of John Nichol Rutherford and Johannah/Hannah Antonette Dahl. Gladys was of Norwegian descent, the daughter of Peter Gilleshammer and May Agnes C. Olsen.

Caucasian could be anything from European,to western Asian,North African,Central Asian and Southern Asian.
True, but The term Caucasian was re-purposed to phase out the use of the word “White” as a PC term. So Black = African-American and White = Caucasian.
Its a fail since people call each other black or white anyway. Besides what would the PC term for Jordin Sparks be African-Caucasian, mulatto us outdated and mixed can mean any type of mixture?
