Jesca Hoop is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist.

Jesca’s paternal grandfather was Lyle Bresnahan Hoop (the son of Oscar Winslow Hoop and Mabel Earp). Lyle was born in Kansas. Oscar was the son of Homer MacClelland Hoop and Laura Elvira Piper. Mabel was the daughter of George Washington Earp and Anna Maxwell.

Jesca’s paternal grandmother was Adah Lenore Lane (the daughter of John Ernest Lane and Hattie Hazel Bradfield). Adah was born in Missouri. John was the son of John Harvey Lane and Ella Capitolia Dymond, whose father was Canadian. Hattie was the daughter of Jesse Jethro Bradfield and Mary Ellen Homan.

Jesca’s maternal grandfather was Elliott Ballantyne Woolley (the son of Herbert Elliott Woolley and Prescinda Stewart Ballantyne). Elliott was born in Utah. Herbert was the son of Edwin Dilworth Woolley, Jr. and Florence Ashby Snow. Prescinda was the daughter of Richard Alando Ballantyne, whose father was Scottish, and of Mary Ann Stewart.

Jesca’s maternal grandmother was Vivienne Miller (the daughter of John Fredrick Miller and Mabelle Grover). Vivienne was born in Idaho. John was the son of Arnold Daniel Miller, Sr. and Mary Jane Laub. Mabelle was the daughter of Edward Partridge Grover and Fannie Belle Clawson.
