He is the son of June and Thomas Mraz.
Jason’s paternal grandfather was Frank George Mraz (the son of János Paul “Johann/John” Mráz and Anna Szedlák). Frank was born in Pennsylvania, to Slovak emigrants, from Nagy-Ladna, Austria-Hungary, now Velka Lodina, Slovakia. János was the son of Gyorgy Mraz and Maria Lukács. Anna was the daughter of János Szedlák and Mária Valya.
Jason’s paternal grandmother was Mary Helen Tiller (the daughter of James Walker Tiller and Mary Martha Tyson). Jason’s grandmother Mary was born in North Carolina. James was the son of William Elisha Tiller and Eliza Ann Odom. Jason’s great-grandmother Mary was the daughter of John Ivy Tyson and Tamer Delitha Baldree.
Jason’s maternal grandfather was Frank Ellis Tomes (the son of George Ellis Tomes/Tomas and Lottie Lee Daniel). Frank was born in Virginia. George was the son of Charles Jessie Tomes and Clarissa Belle Cash. Lottie was the daughter of Robert Thomas “Tom” Daniel and Nancy E. Morrison/Morrisson.
