James Rodríguez is a Colombian professional footballer. He plays as an attacking midfielder, or winger, for Campeonato Brasileiro Série A club São Paulo and the Colombia national team. In 2014, James moved from Monaco to Real Madrid for a transfer fee of €80 million, making him one of the most expensive players in football. He has also played for Envigado, Banfield, Porto, Bayern Munich, Everton, Al-Rayyan, and Olympiacos.
James is a native of the city of Ibagué, where he spent his childhood. He is the son of Maria Del Pilar Rubio and Wilson James Rodríguez Bedolla. He has two children, including a daughter with his former wife, volleyball player Daniela Ospina. Daniela is the sister of professional footballer, goalkeeper David Ospina. James became a Spanish citizen in 2019. He is a practising Catholic.

Read wikipedia and nothing in there talks about his ancestry. With his last name and his features it’s obvious he has white ancestry, but that doesn’t mean all of his ancestors where SPanish or even Caucasian.
