The identity of Nicholson’s father is not confirmed and Nicholson has chosen not to take a DNA test to find out his paternal background. There are two possible fathers one of which is Italian-American, Donald Furcillo. Another possibility is Edgar A. Kirschfeld who is of Jewish Latvian descent.
He and his family have identified themselves as Irish and he was raised a Catholic.

He looks a lot like some Italian-Irish people I know actually. Donald Furcillo-Rose also IMO shares some distinctive traits with Jack Nicholson, and sort of has the same eyebrows and a similar mouth. My guess would be part-Italian personally. He also doesn’t give me a Jewish impression at all, but of course you never know without the DNA evidence. That said, I do think Nicholson looks pretty Irish and shows that more than anything else.

What an ignorant post. Since when is Jewish an ethnicity? I Catholic Latvian is a Latvian, a Lutheran Latvian is a Latvian but a Jewish Latvian is a Jew? Pleez. A Latvian Jew has nothing in common with a French Jew, American Jew or Somalian Jew other than religion.
