Ilse DeLange is a Dutch country and pop singer. She represented Netherlands as a member of The Common Linnets, alongside Waylon, in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014, finishing in second place.

She is the daughter of Klaasje (Alfing) de Lange-Alfing and Johannes “Joop” de Lange.

Ilse’s patrilineal ancestry can be traced back to her seventh great-grandfather, Scherp Hendricx Gortemaker.

Ilse’s paternal grandfather was Harm de Lange (the son of Jan de Lange and Emmegien Slot). Jan was the son of Geert de Lange and Berendje de Lange, who were born with the same surname. Emmegien was the daughter of Gerrit Slot and Koopje Snijder.

Ilse’s paternal grandmother was Aafke Heerschap (the daughter of Johannes Heerschap and Jantje Meinen). Ilse’s great-grandfather Johannes was the son of Geert Heerschap and Afke Johannes Vos. Jantje was the daughter of Hendrik Meinen and Rensina van Echten.
