Ichirō Suzuki (鈴木 一朗, Suzuki Ichirō) is a Japanese professional baseball player. He played for 28 seasons, and was an outfielder, for the Orix BlueWave, in Japan, and then the Seattle Mariners, the New York Yankees, the Miami Marlins, and the Seattle Mariners, of Major League Baseball (MLB). He is also known simply as Ichirō (イチロー).

His father is Nobuyuki Suzuki. He was raised in Toyoyama, a town outside Nagoya. Ichirō is married to television announcer Yumiko Fukushima, of TBS TV.
