Hayden has said:

My mom is from Kentucky and my [paternal] grandmother is from Corpus Christi, so I had a better understanding of the South than the average person moving from New York. At my core, this is the kind of person I am and want to be. I like being in a place where people appreciate the little things and don’t need a lot of stuff to be happy. You can put a group of Southerners in any scenario and they’ll have a good time.

Hayden’s paternal grandmother is Nann Nix Boland (the daughter of Joseph Edmond Boland and Elva Irene Cavnor/Cavnar). Nann was born in Texas. Joseph was the son of David Edmond Boland and Margaret May/Mae/Maye “Maggie” Fondren.

Hayden’s maternal grandfather is John Leslie Vogel (the son of John Raymond Vogel and Elizabeth Francis Long). Hayden’s grandfather John was born in Kentucky. Hayden’s great-grandfather John was the son of John J. Vogel and Anna F. Miller, who were the children of German parents. Hayden’s great-grandmother Elizabeth was the daughter of Leslie Preston Long and Hulda Frances Bessie Wilson, who had English ancestry.

Hayden’s maternal grandmother is Eunice B. “Tam” Latty (the daughter of Salvino/Salvin Frank Latty and Rose/Rosyln L. Shaw). Eunice was born in Maine, to Italian parents. Rose was the daughter of Joseph Shaw and Maria/Mary Pagoni.

People are so dumb, the whole North/South “Blonde” thing is an idiotic racist statement that was promoted by Nordicist, if you actualy look at the statistics there are no more blondes and red heads in the north than there are in the South. One of the miss Italy had red hair, and the “Nordic” contribution to Italy apparently was not enough to make a huge dent. The majority are still the same height, and still have a totally different bone structure from a Nordic, people don’t just invade a country and have sex with the entire population otherwise everyone in America would be the same thing by now, Italians are and have always been mixed with several Indo-European people, Even the Romans were mixed with several Indo-European people including Greeks they have never been pure. So seeing Blonde hair is not surprising when your ethnic group is already mixed with a shitload of “Caucasian Groups”. Blonde hair is as “Rare” in England as it is Italy.

Just because a people have mostly “Dark hair” does not mean they cannot have blonde hair and still be full Italian, they are Caucasian afterall the gene is still there. News flash dark hair is the majority even in the Nordic countries like Sweden & Finland, its not a nation full of blondes, more blondes? yes, but far from being completely blonde. If you look at Hayden’s figure and skull shape its similiar to that of the mediterranean people, Small, nordics bone shape would be longer in form. You cannot tell someone’s race by their hair color, race goes far deeper than that. Just because someone has blonde hair does not change their bone structure, you can have blonde hair and still have a mediterranean skull shape.

1 america is the country with less % of natural blonde in the world compared europe and australia

1 while southern italian are mediterranean

north italians are alpine, then in north italy there is more blonde than any states in america. try to check this cities in north italy
south tyrol, valle d’aosta, treviso, trieste, brescia, bolzano, cremona, milan, veneto, ligury, brianza, and many other city in the north

then the most common hair and eye color in all europe is dark brown and black and the only two place with the majority of blonde are finland and russia.

also scandinavian aren’t pure at all they are all descent (back roots) from mongrel and every person that has a little knowledge about anthropology know that.

then the roman empire (italy) conquered and slaved uk for 350 years, austria for 400 years, part of germany, france, belgium, they made switzerland, and the rest the rest of europe, so outside scandinavia every country in europe have a big chance to carry an ancestry from the roman like it or not.
then the romans was considered nordic pure race at the time (check augustus emperor blonde and blue eyes and many others roman figure)
then sorry but america has the less % of scandinavian ancestry on the people

“white american are made by germans,british,italian,french,irish,polish,……..
      germans are the largest european ancestry in usa,than british,than irish,than italian,than french,……….

then the term caucasian are refereed to every european person
so every country inside europe is white caucasian, there are only three groups in the world caucasian, mongrel and negroid.

than italy was divided until 150 years ago and didn’t even exist i
north italy is way different than south and central italy by physical looks of the people, genetic, history, language, cuisine and culture

Don’t forget that the term “white” has nothing to do with skin color, but everything to do with geography. According to the US gov., anyone from Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa must mark the box “white” to ID themselves. That means you can have a black man who is from North Africa that must mark the box “white” because he is from North Africa. Anytime someone tells me that they are “white” I always look at them and say, “thanks for giving me a wide geography on where your ancestor’s might have come from, but what cultures make up you?”

    • KimJ says:

Any darker skinned Southern European person is showing their Arabic heritage. The Moors invaded Spain in 711 and were finally kicked out by Queen Isabella in 1492. Though, I do agree with you on the blonde hair. That is a more typical Scandinavian trait and is believed to have been brought to Britain, Scotland, and Ireland via the Anglo-Saxons (from a place we now call Denmark) as well as the Vikings. Both Nordic origins.

Long rant about nothing. Hayden Panettiere has a mixed European ancestry (like most Americans) and shouldn’t be used as an example of any ethnicity.
