Harry Browne was an American writer, politician, and investment advisor.

He was the Libertarian Party’s nominee for President of the United States in 1996 and 2000.

Harry was the son of Cecil Margaret (Davis) and Edson Bradford Browne. He was married to Pamela Lanier Wolfe.

Harry’s paternal grandfather was Isaac Snell Browne (the son of Albert Gallatin Browne and Adaline Lavinia Babbitt). Isaac was born in Massachusetts. Albert was the son of Isaac Browne and Susanna Bradford. Adaline was the daughter of Snell Babbitt and Jael Edson.
