Greg Berlanti is an American film and television screenwriter, producer, and director. His projects include the shows Dawson’s Creek, Brothers & Sisters, Everwood, Political Animals, Riverdale, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, You, the Arrowverse, Titans, and Doom Patrol. He also directed the film Love, Simon. He founded the production company Berlanti Productions.

Greg is the son of Barbara and Eugene Berlanti. He is married to professional soccer player Robbie Rogers, with whom he has two children.

Greg’s paternal grandfather was named Eugene “Gene” Berlanti.

Greg’s paternal grandmother was Helen Del Grande (the daughter of Louis Del Grande and Candida). Helen was born in Pennsylvania, to Italian parents.

Greg’s maternal grandfather was named John William Moller.

    I think he is more German than English or Irish, on his mother’s side, being Moller a German surname.
