Gabriel Mann is an American actor and model. His roles include the films Cherry Falls, The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, and The Life of David Gale, and the series Revenge.

He is the son of Alice, an attorney, and Stephen Mick, a sociology professor. He has a sister, Alexandra Mann, who is an actress.

Gabriel’s sister Alexandra stated in an interview that one of their great-grandmothers was a Cherokee Native American. Both of Gabriel’s maternal great-grandmothers are listed as “white” on United States Censuses, although it is possible that this Cherokee Native American ancestry comes from Gabriel’s father’s side.

Gabriel’s paternal grandfather was Frank Mick (the son of Felix W. Mikolajczak/Mick and Eleanor M. Piekarski). Frank was born in Pennsylvania, to parents of Polish descent. Eleanor was the daughter of Frank Piekarski.

Gabriel’s paternal grandmother was Betty/Bettye Lou Wilhoit (the daughter of Smith Wilhoit and Alice Steed). Betty Lou was born in Texas.

Gabriel’s maternal grandfather was William Lewis “Bill” Amis (the son of Lewis Amis, Jr. and Amy Webb Smith). William was born in Arkansas. Lewis was the son of Lewis Amis and Martha J. Daniels. Amy was the daughter of Benjamin Patillo Smith and Annie Williams.

Gabriel’s maternal grandmother was Grace Elizabeth Mann (the daughter of Samuel Spencer Mann and Magnolia May Watson). Grace was born in North Carolina. Samuel was the son of Joseph Spencer Mann and Sophia Lumsden Swindell. Magnolia was the daughter of Joseph Masters Watson and Elisha Ann Burrus.

    Wilhoit is a German surname

  2. ethnogenesis says:

Nobody performed a genealogical study of Gabriel Mann’s family tree? whether on both sides there are Cherokee ancestors, but surnames like Pattillo, Smith and Williams have a lot of Cherokee connections or references in their tribal histories. I don’t believe he has any on both sides, and ethnicelebs has never confirmed it. +
