The Female vocalist from the group Black eyed Peas and now a solo artist, is of Irish, Scottish and Mexican Descent. She stated this in an article at Latina.com. Specifically she stated that her great grandmother was Mexican and born in Guanajuato.
Some people even go as far as to claim she is of part African American origin. Some of these claims may be to give her more street credibility. But she admits that she is mostly Scottish-Irish.

There is no such thing as a DNA test that tells one whether they are Mexican or not because it is not a race. Truthfully, it is just a nationality, but most Mexicans are heavily mixed with Native and European, and sometimes even African in George Lopez’s case.

Sorry but this is wrong. Wikipedia says she’s of Irish, Scottish, Mexican AND Native American. And i know alot of Mexicans are part Native American so basically she’s mostly Native American and Anglo.

Okay first off Wikipedia is not a reliable source. Just because it says something different doesn’t mean this site is automatically true, like please be smart and uses your brain. Secondly if you were smart you’d know that Mexico is full of many different ancestral backgrounds which include the people who built the freaking ancient ruins and pyrimaids that reside there today! && I’m pretty sure native Americans were one of the many groups that integrated with those originally reading in Mexico including the Spanish (who are white!) blacks, English, and more. The world is very diverse so I suggest you open your eyes and take a long around. You might also want to get off Wikipedia and check out things like the history channel.

Some of you sound really racist and ignorant right now. Im 14 and I’m a lot of different races and skin color can not tell you whats in your blood. I don’t see why they even allow people to like or dislike posts because certain people think that ethnicelebs.com is a place where you can show you behind and say whatever rude thing is on your mind.
