Ezra Miller is an American actor, model, singer, and musician. Ezra has had leading roles in the films Afterschool, City Island, Beware the Gonzo, Every Day, Another Happy Day, We Need to Talk About Kevin, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Madame Bovary, The Stanford Prison Experiment, Trainwreck, and DalĂland, and the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and DC Cinematic Universes, the latter as Barry Allen / The Flash; and appeared on television’s Royal Pains and The Stand (2021).

Ezra’s parents are Marta and Robert S. Miller. Ezra’s father worked at Hyperion Books and Workman Publishing, and Ezra’s mother is a modern dancer.

Ezra’s father is from a Jewish family; of German Jewish, Russian Jewish, and Austrian Jewish descent. Ezra’s maternal grandfather was of German and Dutch ancestry, while Ezra’s maternal grandmother’s parents were German immigrants. In an interview for the Israeli newspaper Ha’aretz, 2012, Ezra stated that “I totally consider myself a Jew,” and “spiritual.”

A picture of Ezra’s father can be seen here. A picture of Ezra’s mother can be seen here. A picture of Ezra’s maternal grandmother can be seen here.

Ezra has also said:

…my immediate family is amazing. I recently found out that on my mother’s side I may be descended from the Jewish who first invented the cold cut so I have the greatest lineage of all time because cold cuts are the greatest.

It is not clear what ancestor Ezra was referring to.

Internet rumours maintain that Ezra is related to Japanese rapper and personality Joji (George Kusunoki Miller). This does not appear to be accurate.
