Eva Green is a French actress and model.
She is the daughter of Walter Green, a dentist, and Marlène Jobert, an actress. Eva’s aunt, Marika Green (Marika Nicolette Green), and Eva’s cousin, Joséphine Jobert, are also actresses. Eva is also a cousin of singer and actress Elsa.
Her father is of Swedish, Breton, and French descent. Her mother was born in Algeria, of French, Sephardi Jewish, and Spanish background (considered to be Pied-Noir), with roots in Birkhadem.
Eva has described herself as Jewish; “a secular Jew who never attended synagogue as a girl.” At the moment, she is known to have a Sephardi great-grandfather. It is not clear if she has any other Jewish-born and/or convert to Judaism ancestors on her mother’s side.

Please, take note that she has 25% publicly unknown ethnicity because her maternal grandfather and two of her great-grandmothers’ fathers are not publicly identified.
Why would the ethnicity be unknown just because the ancestor is unknown? The assumption would of course be that they were from the same ethnicity as their children and wives.
We can’t just assume like that. There are some instances that some of the biological ancestors are of different ethnicity. Just like in the Philippines, there are some Filipino ancestors whose biological father might be a Chinese trader (in the case of Sergio Osmeña) or a Spanish friar or officer. So, we have to be cautious. False assumptions might create a disaster.
On the other hand, I suggest to add her mother, Marlène Jobert, as well as her cousins, Elsa Lunghini and Joséphine Jobert, who are all actresses, to this site. The construction of their ancestries are up to you.
Of course we can assume that. The cases you mentioned do exist, but there’s always a risk of a parent being from another ethnic group, no matter if only one or non of the parents are known. I mean, should we really be cautious about a woman from Northern Sweden possibly having a father from another ethnic group? And even if her father would turn out to be Finnish it wouldn’t bother me since it’s only 1/16th of Eva’s ancestry, we don’t have to be that precise just because the possibility exists. If the evidence comes along the page will be updated, it’s not a big deal if it’s a little wrong from the beginning (and I would definitely not call it a disaster).
