Juan Andrés/André Cenoz Juanena was from Navarra, Spain. Also his Swiss ancestors were likely Swiss-French considering their names and birth place (Geneve)

andrew August 18, 2017 at 6:10 am

“Kattain” is German, from “Kathain”.

He likely descends from this man: http://gw.geneanet.org/sanchiz?lang=en&iz=20759&p=emilio&n=kathain+kause

anen87 November 16, 2016 at 11:55 pm

He holds triple citizenship: Mexican, American cause his mom was born there AND Spanish citizenship, cause his moms parent/s is Spanish.

luckystar February 12, 2016 at 11:37 am

Puerto ricans are tri racial, also she could have some black ancestors on his spanish side

athelya December 8, 2015 at 3:55 pm

he’s so hot! he looks pure spanish with no native or black in the mixture.

xoxo January 28, 2016 at 10:31 pm

So what if he did have black and Native American??? Would that make him “ugly”? Your comment sounds racist as shit.

neiltennant July 23, 2015 at 5:24 am

hmm i thought he might be half irish or brit

he is too pale for a spanish

marjanel October 9, 2015 at 4:09 pm

you don’t know many Spanish then

stonelord November 1, 2015 at 11:20 am

I think he looks like a Brit too, but that just shows the shared western European ancestry

J420 November 7, 2015 at 2:15 am

@Neiltennant Brits/Irish originally share DNA with the Spaniards, do some research.

Alice December 7, 2015 at 8:02 pm

You need to do some research yourself. I’m wondering if people are citing that old study on ydna by Oppenheimer which has been shown to be completely wrong.

The gentleman above doesn’t look particularly British to me. He looks like he could be from a number of European countries.

neiltennant July 26, 2017 at 2:22 pm

thank you alice

sebastianvalladolid December 7, 2015 at 2:34 pm

You are scientifically aware that Brits are descendants of Spaniards … Ancient Spaniards I’d like to say .

Alice December 7, 2015 at 7:56 pm

That’s rubbish. I don’t know why people keep posting that. What study are you citing that says that Brits are descendents of Spaniards? The most up to date study on genetics for Britain is the PoBI study. You can read some of the details here.

Alice December 7, 2015 at 10:33 pm

Here is an abbreviated article of the above study for anyone interested.

“The first wave of arrivals crossed by land bridges, when sea levels were so low that Britain was attached to what is now northern Germany. This wave was dominated by people with genomes most similar to modern-day inhabitants of northern Germany and Belgium. In parallel, migrants from the west coast of France were arriving by boat. Traces of the combined DNA from all these three pioneer settlers forms the basis for the genetic-make up of all white Britons.

Given the cultural significance of the Roman, Viking and Norman invasions, it’s surprising they didn’t leave greater genetic legacy. For the Romans and Normans, that may be because they were ruling elites who didn’t intermarry with the natives.”

cwm85 July 17, 2015 at 8:47 pm

Looks all spanish, Italian…

alberto.r7 April 6, 2015 at 9:26 am

He is criollo of Spanish ancestry in both sides, so he is white. He and his brothers looks like typical spanish brothers.

Dogg March 9, 2015 at 4:01 am

He’s mostly European, but he still would have some Native American or African ancestry. Yes, there are hardly any pure Spanish Latin-Americans anymore. That’s a myth. All Puerto Ricans have some Native or black ancestry, and all Mexicans have some Native American ancestry, in general. Of course there may be some exceptions to this.

JasonBaker August 19, 2017 at 1:09 pm

I doubt it. White Mexicans in the past probably used to be very racist.

neiltennant October 2, 2014 at 8:47 am

he looks so white

he could also be british, irish or german

jokin March 2, 2015 at 10:02 am

he could be typical spaniard from Spain and seeing his background here, he could only have spanish backround (mexican-puertorican but with european spaniard background) so there is no doubt he is typical spaniard looking.

everyoneisthesame August 31, 2014 at 4:16 am

he fully spanish

Freerk July 9, 2014 at 11:30 am

Just look at his face if you have any doubt that the Visigoths have been in Spain … If he had blonde hair, he would look like a German or Danish

sudeuro January 7, 2015 at 3:11 am

He’s Mediterranean like most Spaniards. Got nothing to do with Visigoths.

annfast June 25, 2014 at 5:11 am

he looks spanish

roman2886 June 28, 2014 at 5:46 pm

he looks very Spanish in fact he looks Native Spanish like before the romans conqured Spain he defiantly doesn’t look Italian he doesn’t look like those Spanish people who can pass for Italian.

J.J. June 28, 2014 at 8:21 pm

he could pass for italian

Euro June 29, 2014 at 5:17 pm

JJ. Most white italians(not those brown italians) tend to have big nose. He has the nose of a Dutch guy ;)

J.J. July 9, 2014 at 6:05 pm

i can’t believe how incredibly ignorant and prejudice that comment is, all italians are white regardless of whether or not they have fair or darker beige skin, and italians can have small and big noses despite their complexion. Spaniards can have big noses too and this guys nose is not like a dutchmans, infact it looks slightly negroid influenced

andrew July 10, 2014 at 5:14 am

he’s confused..but dont get in confusion with him: how is his nose negroid influenced?

J.J. July 10, 2014 at 11:18 pm

it’s broad

andrew July 11, 2014 at 2:55 am
J.J. July 11, 2014 at 8:19 pm

yeah you’re right it’s not broad actually, but his nose isn’t dutch

Euro June 29, 2014 at 5:13 pm

That might have been hard because Spain did not exist at that time. Those Spaniards that are famous in the USA are mosly mixed heritage. Some Spaniards of none mixed heritage: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/worldcup2014/article-2658483/David-De-Gea-ruled-World-Cup-group-stage-hip-injury-Spain-worry-Iker-Casillas-form.htmlheritage:Juan Mata(football player) and David delaGea

andrew July 10, 2014 at 5:16 am

u mean a dark-haired Spaniard is mixed and Mata and De Gear not coz they’re light complexioned? LOL

andrew July 10, 2014 at 5:16 am

De Gea sorry

Princess June 8, 2014 at 8:34 pm

He looks Haitian.

Euro June 29, 2014 at 4:53 pm

Wrong post or just trolling? I came here because my sister rent the worst movie I ever seen: Rock of Ages. This guy was cast as a white boy not as a black person in the movie.Everyone think that I look like him(my friends and family). Only I have blue eyes and my hair is lighter. I though he was Spaniard. I am a white dutch man. Never been call black in my life.Hiatian people may be white. Little did I know.

Caution January 18, 2014 at 12:40 am

He looks fully white, his parents were clearly of European ancestry. White Latinos.

WTF June 2, 2014 at 11:21 am

no he doesn’t. he clearly has native influences

Euro June 29, 2014 at 5:02 pm

WTF, He looks white. I look like him and I am Dutch. Yes, I am consider good looking. There is a reason why he was cast as a white guy in an American movie. After looking at the comments I thinking most Americans confuse race with nationality or have never travel outside there own country. They are many people who are consider white in the USA but are obviously mixed people(Kim Kardashian) and are not consider white in Europe. His facial feactures are of a white person.

Dogg March 9, 2015 at 4:08 am

He’s MOSTLY white. But all “white” Latinos have non-white blood.

Dogg March 9, 2015 at 4:12 am

All white Latinos have non-white blood. Latinos classify their race based on skin colour because obviously they know nothing about their racial history, as Latin-Americans are so mixed up these days. If a Latino has white skin and white facial features, they’ll classify themselves as white regardless of how much Native American or Black ancestry they have. A Castizo or Latino of 1/3 Native American ancestry could identify as white depending on how European they look.

J.J. March 9, 2015 at 5:05 am

there’s no such thing as “white skin”, skin tones of the white race vary significantly. White in regards to skin tone is used metaphorically and the term now is branded towards particularly ethnicities and phenotypes of the “caucasian” race. White skin is non existent as is black skin, if you wish to refer to white people with rather light skin the word “fair” is often seen as appropriate.

alberto.r7 April 6, 2015 at 9:32 am

I am agree. He is “criollo” that means of Spanish ancestry at least 7/8, so he is white.

Alice January 5, 2014 at 1:05 am

J.J’s eye colour classifications are bizarre.

follers January 5, 2014 at 1:11 am

Diego Boneta looks like Mitt Romney (who also had a Mexican father).

ihatemostpeople February 27, 2014 at 1:25 am

NO, his father is not ethnically MEXICAN. He is WHITE, but was LIVING in Mexico. He DOESN’T have MEXICAN blood in him. He is WHITE as freshly fallen snow.

ihatemostpeople February 27, 2014 at 1:26 am

OH and I forgot to say that he doesn’t look like Romney whatsoever. EWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!! What an insult to Diego. Diego is hot and Romney is ugly as hell!!!!!!!!

follers February 27, 2014 at 1:57 am

I know all about Mitt Romney’s ancestry. But to deny that he looks like Diego is madness.

Dogg March 9, 2015 at 4:05 am

WHAAAA? I didn’t know that….

J.J. January 5, 2014 at 9:30 pm

correction; his eyes are certainly not brown, my eye colour classifications are not bizarre they’re just extremely accurate because I’m actually taking time to look these celebrities up on google images and zooming in on large pictures in order to see their true eye colour rather than going off small distant pictures that tell nothing, a person with green eyes could look blue in distant photos and a person with amber eyes could look plain brown in distant photos, this guys eyes are most definitely not brown, they’re green or at least a forest green (green w brown)

follers January 5, 2014 at 9:34 pm

But his eyes look brown to me.

J.J. January 5, 2014 at 10:04 pm

correction; well they’re not brown they’re green, look the celebrity up on google images and zoom in

follers January 5, 2014 at 10:07 pm

Green eyes are like Robert Pattinson or James Wolk. Boneta doesn’t have them.

J.J. January 5, 2014 at 10:15 pm

correction; why are you arguing a point that clearly doesn’t need to be argued, his eyes are not brown, they’re green or if you prefer forest green (green w brown). As for james wolk yes his eyes do appear to be green and they are quite pretty but if you zoom in his are actually blue with brown around the pupil, no ones eyes are solidly green, however eyes can be solidly brown and Diego’s are most definitely not. I’ve noticed quite a few people lately back lashing at my corrections like I’m some loser who doesn’t know what he’s talking about, it’s quite uncalled for

follers January 5, 2014 at 10:19 pm

I am starting to yearn for those days 8000 years ago when everybody in the world had the same eye color.

J.J. January 5, 2014 at 10:24 pm

I think you’re gonna have to go back more than 8000 years to when everyone had virtually black hair and eyes, blue eyes and blonde hair along with all the other colours resulted from mixing have been around longer than 8000 years

ethnic January 5, 2014 at 10:24 pm

You may have to go even further back than 8000 years. Lol

follers January 5, 2014 at 10:26 pm

As I understand it, blue eyes are a genetic mutation that first appeared about 8000 years ago, in the area that is now southern Bulgaria. Before that, everyone had the same eye color.

Alice January 5, 2014 at 11:42 pm

The mutation for blue eyes occurred 6,000 – 10,000 years ago. Read about it here.

follers January 5, 2014 at 11:56 pm

Averages out to 8,000!

Alice January 5, 2014 at 11:57 pm

Yes. I was backing up what you said with the article.

follers January 4, 2014 at 8:42 am

Ethnic, I wonder if you could crop the picture, please? Otherwise it shows up badly in featured posts.

AnonymousPerson January 4, 2014 at 8:00 am
