Dick Anthony Williams was an American actor. His film roles include Pretty Tony in The Mack, Joe Creole in Slaughter’s Big Rip-Off, and Denzel Washington’s character’s father in Mo’ Better Blues. He also appeared in Broadway roles.

He was raised in the Bronzeville neighborhood. He was married to actress Gloria Edwards, until her death. Dick had three children, including two with Gloria.
