Diane Lane is an American actress. She is the daughter of Burton Eugene Lane, a drama coach with an acting workshop, and Colleen Farrington (Colleen Leigh Farrington), a model, nightclub singer, and Playboy Playmate. Diane has a daughter, model and music writer Eleanor Lambert, with her former husband, actor Christopher Lambert. Her parents’ families were from the state of Georgia.

Diane’s paternal grandfather was Carra Lathrop Lane (the son of Carra/Carl Lee Lane and Buena Mabel Duren). Carra was born in Georgia. Carl was the son of Bryant Lane and Mollie Ann Driver. Buena was the daughter of Pinkney/Pinckney Flowers/Flourney Duren and Martha Annie Knight.

Diane’s paternal grandmother was Nannie/Nanie Mae Crawford (the daughter of William Troupe Crawford and Jesna/Jessene Zeraphie Gardner). Nannie was born in Georgia.
