I always wondered which ethnicity she has

the confusion came due to her first name CONCHATA
she also played Hispanic roles back in the 70s like RITA VALDEZ

    • follers says:

Sounds like whitewashing to me. :-)

      • neiltennant says:

        pardon ?

i meant she has a typical spanish first name

conchata is hispanic or spanish therefore many people thought she might be of spanish descent or part mexican, puerto rican etc.

        obviously she is very white

My mother always said ,,Berta in two and a half men is one of those white hispanics of european descent”

I meant casting Conchata Ferrell as Rita Valdez would be considered whitewashing today.

no no i think there was a mistake

because conchita and conchata are typical hispanic names

and when the producers wanted a hispanic actress for the role they saw her and took her

however BERTA is not hispanic but more redneck

on one episode of TWO AND A HALF MEN BERTA claimed that she has to support her sister in warsaw haha
