Clint’s maternal grandfather was Joseph Calderone (the son of Rocco Calderone and Philomena Paiano). Joseph was Italian, born in Oppido Mamertina, Reggio Calabria. Philomena was born in Tresilico, Calabria, Italy, and was the daughter of Joseph Paiano and Francesca.

A question: can an ethnic Hungarian carry the surname “Abraham”?

    Look 100% Italian

We were a bit off topic on this page, although not really. We were talking about Italian-Americans and that pertains to Clint. You also found his maternal and paternal grandparents, that he is 50% Italian, and that he also has Hungarian and German ancestry.

    Now for some sexiness:

Follers, please tell me I’m not crazy in thinking that she looks 100% Italian. I don’t see German, Norwegian, or Anglo in her at all! LOL.

    • levangelista36 says:

      Why Schmaltz?

Oh . . . It’s a English term derived from Yiddish that means “rendered animal fat.”

I think they’re glad their name is Schmautz. LOL.

Stacie looks very Italian to me. :D

      No freaking way!

She doesn’t even look like them!

      Is she adopted?

      Maybe I need to see a close-up!

Maybe she looks like a carbon copy of her Italian grandpa!

She has 4 siblings! I wonder if she is the most Italian-looking of them all!

This isn’t the first time I’ve seen this! I know this one girl who is 50% Italian! She is very dark, with the skin, hair, and eyes! But then I saw her parents and freaked because they weren’t as dark as her! Neither was her brother! I thought she for sure was adopted or pulling tricks on me!

      I’m shocked! Stacieeee!

I just got done watching the video, and she does look like her mom. I thought it was kind of funny, seeing her mom sing like that. You’re right, though. They were probably darker when younger.

I wonder if Joey Pantoliano is full Italian.

    • follers says:

His maternal grandparents, Mamie and Gus Centrella, were both Italian-born, as were their parents. I think Joey’s dad was fully Italian, too.

In this movie we’re casting, Joey Pantoliano will be played by British singer Harry Styles, making his acting debut.
