Black is black no matter what country you come from. If African ancestry is present and apparent, you are black. You can be black or afro cuban, puertorican, dominican, whatever. But you are still black. No, not AFRICAN-AMERICAN, but BLACK. Two totally different things.

To Wow!, thanks for the comment. i think this site can help minorities feeling the pressure from the media to fit into the mainstream white America. As you may know there has been a increase in the number of minorities taking lead roles in films and tv shows. its a good thing as young minorities can see people of their own ethnic background in the spotlight. This site only celebrates these celebs.

Why are ppl still OBSESSED with race neways. Take this site for example some of the ethnicities that are on this site didn’t even come out of the horses mouth but from other I’M GONNA LABEL THIS PERSON AS THIS sites b/c they look or i heard that they were this. smh America needs to get over race and color thing b/c it doesn’t defy who the person is. How about America judge ppl on their character, you know something more worth while!! Plus all this site really is is how blacks go upon that stupid azz one drop rule(im black and hates that danm rule, and to be honest whoever that stupid white person was who came up with that rule so their “RACE” could stay pure should’ve been shot on the stop) and whites who go by skin color and textures of hair and color of their eyes and other physical features classified as “WHITE” to them. I dnt understand why SOME(NOT ALL) whites hate us(blacks)so much, but at the same time want us to have some white in us!!lmao make up yall’s minds, either you hate us or love us!! And my beautiful Nubian queens we are all mixed due to our ancestors so theres no need to dislike someone b/c they are claiming more of who they are then just black, and my mixed ppl STOP just claiming your black side b/c of how society wants you to due to that stupid azz one drop rule!! Let’s love each other and most IMPORTANTLY ourselves, and maybe one day you wont be judged by your skin color but just by your character!! Love all my bros and sistas of many races and God Bless you all!! :)

LOL, I DEFINITELY AGREE WITH T ALI. IF U’RE BLACK U’RE BLACK AND IF U LOOK BLACK THEN U’RE CONSIDERED BLACK….I KNOW THAT’S MEAN BUT SHYT THAT’S HOW THE WORLD SEES U…IF U HAVE COLOR THAN YOU’RE CONSIDERED AFRICAN AMERICAN, THAT’S JUST THAT. BLACK PEOPLE ARE BEAUTIFUL, THEY RANGE IN ALL DIFFERENT COMPLEXIONS. NO NEED TO DENY YOUR BLACKNESS, LOL. BESIDES, CHRISTINIA MILIAN HAS OBVIOUSLY GOT SOME AFRICAN AMERICAN IN HER, SO THEREFORE SHE’S CONSIDERED AFRICAN AMERICAN. I’VE GOT TO ADMIT THOUGH, THAT SHE DOES LOOK A LITTLE HISPANIC OR CUBAN OR WHATEVER. BUT THE GIRL IS BLACK AND BEAUTIFUL

Jennybaby I think you hit the nail on the head. I think people need to stop claiming celebs as a part of their group only. Instead people need to accept that multicultural people can be proud of every part of their heritage.

Christina’s parents are afro-cuban
or Afro-latino which means they are the decendents of african slaves
brought to Cuba they grew up in the spanish culture & spoke spanish
alot of them mixed with the europeans or other races & look mixed
both of her parents are probably of mixed afro-latino heritage
air go the light skin, it doesnt mean there not black & it doesn’t mean there not
Latino they are part of both that’s why the term afro-latino was created.
& lets live it at that i dont why you guys debate its her ethnicity not yours.
my dads Indo-jamaican(google it)
its doesnt make him any less indian
or any less Jamaican.
