First in reply about your nephew. You don’t even know what his father’s background is and yet you autamatically assumed your nephew was only a 3% white because you are allegedly from Cameroon. Quite a flawed way of thinking considering there are whites in Cameroon and you are allegedly 6.25% white yourself. Your nephew could be over half white for all we know.
Secondly, Chris Brown’s mother has a nose that has resembles to a Caucasoid nose, though somewhat mixed with black. Her hair type is also mixed with European and she has light eyes. Her mother is very European. Its not just about her skin tone. Only a dumbass is unable to see that his mother has some strong European traits mixed in with the non-European.
Like “Ha” said, the great majority of African slaves came from West Africa who are traditionally very very black. The United States didn’t have ambiguous looking slaves when they first ship them in, the first ambiguous ones came from RACE MIXING with WHITE SLAVE MASTERS and then through both sexes of the white race later on in history.
I’m simply here dismantling the “double standard” I’m not engaging in it, I never called Chris Brown’s mother WHITE, I’m calling her MIXED.
The double standard comes from the ASS CLOWNS that call her black just because they want to put claimage to anyone who has black in them when even when they have other ethnicities.
Like I said, I saw that other forum with Ne-Yo in it and I was disgusted to see how the blacks were there criticizing him because he regards himself as Chinese as well.
To anyone engaging the in the one drop rule bullshit, sorry to for the reality check, but part black doesn’t equal black. The only time I feel as if someone is black or white ,in my personal opinion, is if they are largely that ancestry by their total percentage.
Barack Obama to me would just be Bi-Racial. And so would anyone who is mixed to his level.
I would call you “drexxx” black since you are only 6.25% French according to you, BUT if you were only 6.25% black and the rest would have been French, conversely, I would call you white.

Funny thing is that if it were the OTHER WAY AROUND and someone happens to be dark skinned, they say “No, he is very black, he can’t be part white” among other bullshit.
Actually the funny thing is if you think that chris brown’s mother is more than half white, it’s just because of her complextion.

That’s what i’m talking about when i was talking about genetics’s tricks. In africa there is a tribe called fulfuldé, known to have almost all ppl more or less mixed with black, arab, and berber blood.
Trust me in this tribe you can see people in all complextions, to pale skin (i’m not joking) to very dark skin.

To answer to the quick judgement you made about me, if someone is half black half white, this person is half black half white, that’s i actually think.
You’re right about the fact that my nephew could be more than 3% white, because i don’t know the exact ethnicity of his father (except the fact he’s cameroonian) and if my nephew would be dark skinned, it wouldn’t change the fact that he has white blood.
The difference between black americans and black africans like me is the fact that black africans know that a black person could have (rarely or not) all these features who are found easier in other ethnicities, like light skin, green, blue or grey eyes, almond eyes, and straight hair for example.
But black americans seem to not believe it, so when a person is light skinned, this person has to be mixed. I know there is more mixing black white native american in america than in africa, but sometimes it’s too much.
You can’t judge a book by its cover, even if it seem to be obvious to you !!!

First of all, i’m not american, i’m cameroonian so your microcosm of the african american is going to trash. if i took my nephew’s example, it’s simply for showing that you can’t tell a person’s ethnicity just by looking that’s all.

Some African Americans try to recruit as many people within their ethnicity as possible. Its rather sad actually. African Americans get angered when a supposed black person mentions they are some other ethnicity. Look a Ne-Yo who claims he is part Chinese, I saw that some blacks on these forums were throwing a fit because he isn’t claiming full black, so fucking what? It is his right to claim whatever lineage is has. People don’t have to be “just” black. Leave the Afro-centric, double-standards at home.

You need to give your “6% white” Nephew who is “white as snow with red hair” a DNA test. You will be surprised to find out that he is much more white than you think.
You have double standards because if you alleged nephew would have been dark as coal you would say he is full black, but have him be fair skinned and you say only 6% white and still black.
You are a microcosm of African American mentality. If someone is half black half white they are black to you. If they are 1/4, black they are black to you, but someone like Don Cheadle (very dark skinned) who is 17% white (African American Lives) then no, he is a pure black person.
HYPOCRISY. Most African Americans are mixed and most of you know it. It is like that thing that is swept under the rug.
