The American actress is famous for her appearance in the films Leave it to Beaver and College Road Trip. She was born to a Hmong father who immigrated to the US from Laos. Her mother is Thai but was adopted by Hmong parents.

Her father’s family name was originally Xiong but was changed to Song after her father moved to the US. Song is fluent in the Hmong language and mentioned in an interview that her father encourage her and her brothers to speak Hmong at home to keep their culture.

Going by her website, this info is partially wrong, she was borin in Sacramento but raised in L.A.
