Breck Eisner is an American film and television director. He has directed the films Thoughtcrimes, Sahara, The Crazies, and The Last Witch Hunter, and episodes of the show The Expanse.

Breck is the son of Jane, a business adviser and computer programmer, and Michael Eisner (Michael Dammann Eisner), a businessperson, who was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company, from 1984 to 2005. Breck’s father is Jewish, of Austrian Jewish, Czech Jewish/Bohemian Jewish, and German Jewish descent. Breck’s mother is a Unitarian, of Scottish and Swedish descent. His brother is producer Eric Eisner, who is married to fashion designer Stacey Bendet.

Breck is married to Georgia Leigh Irwin. Georgia is the granddaughter of businessperson Carroll Rosenbloom, who owned the Baltimore Colts and later the Los Angeles Rams.

Breck’s paternal grandfather was J. Lester Eisner, Jr. (the son of J. Lester Eisner, Sr. and Marguerite Davidson). Breck’s grandfather J. Lester was born in New Jersey, and was a prominent attorney, who was regional administrator of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Breck’s great-grandfather J. Lester’s father was Sigmund Eisner, a prominent manufacturer, who owned the Sigmund Eisner Company, at one point the largest uniform manufacturer in the U.S. Sigmund was born in Horažďovice/Horaschdowitz, Bohemia, Austrian Empire, now Czech Republic, the son of Michael Eisner and Catharine/Kateřina Brumel/Bruml, who was from Strazov, Bohemia. Breck’s great-grandfather J. Lester’s mother was Bertha Weiss, who was born in New Jersey, to parents from Austria. Breck’s great-grandmother Marguerite was the daughter of M. M. Davidson and Jessie.

Breck’s paternal grandmother was Margaret Dammann/Damman (the daughter of Milton Dammann/Damman and Reba/Rita Weil). Margaret was born in New York, and was president of the Irvington Institute, a hospital that treated children with rheumatic fever. Her family founded the American Safety Razor Company. Milton was born in Washington, D.C., to parents from Germany. Reba was born in Georgia, to a father from Germany and a mother from Georgia.

Breck’s maternal grandfather’s surname was Breckenridge.
