Brandon Vera is an American mixed martial artist, and actor. He competed professionally from 2002 to 2022, in the Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight divisions of ONE Championship, World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC), and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), and was the inaugural ONE Heavyweight Champion, and the 2005 WEC Heavyweight Grand Prix Champion. He specializes in Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Muay Thai, and is a student of BJJ Master Lloyd Irvin. He is nicknamed “The Truth.”

Brandon was raised by his Filipino stepmother. He has a tattoo on his back inked in the Filipino writing system, Baybayin. It reads mundo (earth), hangin (wind), apoy (fire), and tubig (water), clockwise. He appeared on a television show in the Philippines.

Brandon is married to Jessica Craven.
